Frequently Asked Questions

What does the session look like?

We typically start a meeting by setting a time frame for it, if we haven't rigidly agreed in advance. The timeframe matters in terms of how the meeting is conducted and the methods used.
If this is our first meeting, we discuss what is important to you, what your expectations and goals are, what you have tried before and with what results.
If it is the next meeting, we discuss what has changed since the last meeting, what the results were, what was introduced, how successful the plans were.
After that, you decide what you want to focus on this time. There may be my suggestions based on previous meetings and your description of what happened between meetings.
Based on your decision and my knowledge, I choose the right approach, method or specific technique for the problem, starting with a better understanding of the context and root cause.
The session closes with a summary by you and me. What are your thoughts and conclusions, what was best for you in this meeting, what can be improved, and what actions are you planning and what you want to change and test until the next meeting.
We end the meeting by setting or confirming the next session date, if it is already good for you.

How to prepare for a session?

Before the meeting, try to find time for yourself to gather your thoughts and calm down. Focus on what you want, need, what you feel, this will make the session more effective for you.
If this is our next meeting, reflect on what has happened and changed since the previous one.

How do you know if I'm coachable?

Everyone is coachable in some way, and reading this indicates your high potential.

The speed at which progress happens can be influenced by openness to change and talking about yourself and your struggles, openness to new ideas and willingness to test them, desire to learn, eagerness to improve, commitment and responsibility, long-term vision, focus on the goal.
However, if you feel that any of these qualities are weaker in you, all the more reason to start working on yourself, and you will notice greater changes once you cross a certain threshold.

What is coaching? What is consulting?

What is facilitation?

You don't need this knowledge to work with me, as I mix styles and use what works best in a given situation.
Coaching is the process of helping you find answers within yourself by asking questions.
Consulting is giving ready answers to use.
Facilitation is assisting the process of creating or finding a solution while not participating in it directly.
I combine all of these along with elements of mentoring, therapy, teaching and inspiring. So you don't need several people for changing needs, because I give my best.

What if I can't find a time slot that suits me?

I make every effort to increase my availability and flexibility.

Contact me and together we will look for a suitable date.

How are the sessions paid and counted?

The session is paid before the meeting, according to the available methods, after confirming the date.
The session time depends on the option purchased and our mutual agreement. The standard is 60 minutes, but there is a possibility to extend it, if the purchased meeting time allows it and there is your and my agreement.
For example: having purchased a full 4 hours, our meetings can be: 4x60 minutes, 2x90 minutes and 1x60, 2x120 minutes. Everything can be adjusted as needed, if we both agree to it and we stick to billing in 30-minute intervals.
If you need to cancel a session, please very much let me know by phone at least 12 hours before to give other clients the opportunity to use the appointment. Otherwise, the session is considered to have taken place according to the previously agreed time and duration.
